Allen Fisher interviews book
In 2003 I was asked to produce a book of interviews with Allen Fisher. I collected existing interviews and statements, transcribed a bunch of historic tapes from the Eric Mottram Archive, and was fortunate enough to carry out a series of interviews with the poet. The whole thing was wrapped up sometime in the summer of 2005. The publisher then sat on it for 7 years, but after a reset it is now going instead to be published by Shearsman - who, true to form, are moving with incredible fluency and rapidity. The title is 'Marvels of Lambeth'. It is about 80,000 words long.
I am very excited about this. There was so much to be said and of that so much got said in the interviews which six or seven people put so much into over a 30-year period.
